Hi Mr Kosman - could you comment on what makes someone a great conductor? Is a conductor the orchestra musicians like necessarily a conductor the audience likes? Unless i know a piece really well, I have no way to evaluate how a piece is conducted. Thanks Jan M
I had every intention of seeing the Kahanes, and at quarter to six, I realized that I had the concert on my calendar at 7:30, not 7, and there was no way for me to get there on time. Feeling quite foolish about that, you bet.
I think the Isidore is one of the great quartets currently on the scene. Thanks for this piece.
